Just been to Amsterdam, i have to say i was very disapointed in the red light district i was expecting more! Anyway i had fun, i am also going to take some photos of the next few days which i should be able to post by the end of the week

I been to Holland a couple of times an plan another trip over there soon but Amsterdam isn't my favourite place, I had friends who stayed in Eindhoven an I found that a much nicer (even if much quieter) city! Hope you had fun over there anyways!

the red light district isnt a themed attraction (well not in the same sence that blackpool tower is a themed attraction) its a few streets and allyways that were getting run down so the local authorities decided to renew the area and give the incressing number of prostitutes a safe and clean area to ply their trade, and thats all there is to it. a few sex shops and some prostitutes in windows with red lights around them.

although the rest of Amsterdam is just incredable, its easily one of the nicest cities in the world, in one of the nicest coutries in the world
