Just as I seemed to be getting over the hill that was in my way, I hit the peak, and before me now are canyons and rough terrain.
Or maybe I'm still worrying too much and everything is going to be just fine.
Karaoke was pretty entertaining last night. Especially "I did that song awesome!", Kenny Rogers, and having my Tetris ass kicked over and over again.
I finally met a few of the site locals who I see at the shows a lot, but never interact with. I tend to show up with work to do, and I watch the karaoke show while off in the corner of the bar, and maybe say hello while I'm helping collect the books or packing up. The SG crew seems to love the show every week and have a great time. I enjoy the shows for reasons other than socializing, but it was definitely nice to finally say 'hi'... in the powder room as always. lol.
So bring your DS and DS Lites (for you lucky bastards who own the latter, or BOTH!) It's time to kill each other via Mario Kart, Tetris, and the sort. Until the Unicorn gets wireless happening, I need to connect with other DS players within a few yards to get some multiplayer happening. Usually I'm pretty happy in my anonymous world of the web.
Now back to the grind... School. Job. Apartment. Repeat.
