Just got in from the 30 Seconds to Mars show at the Guvernment here in Toronto. Three opening acts and the headliners. Honestly, standing around for most of the (relatively shitty) opening acts tired most people out. I'm usually pretty revved after a concert too. The setlist was really great. They covered a lot of old and new ground. Audience participation (and manipulation) was fantastic. I'd like to see someone else make a 30 foot circle in the middle of a mosh pit. Jared flew all over the place, best was when he dove off stage, made his way to the long bar, and ran up and down it to give the people at the back a treat. Lighting was as to be expected. Pretty decent for a small show. Sound was borderline terrible, mixing was too heavy and vocals were muddy a lot. Overall, for $16.50 per ticket, it was fucking great.
