This week @missy and @charmaine have sent us on a quest to show you around our lovely cities. Welcome to the Wild West!
I'm was born and raised in Colorado Springs, CO. I have moved to Denver and Las Vegas but have ended up back home twice. You never know what you have till it's gone!
This city is so gorgeous and filled with tons of outdoor activities. You can camp, fish, bike, run, ride horses, ski, snowboard, swim, and my favorite, hike! I'm able to hike in the middle of town, in the mountains, or in national parks. We are surround by wilderness! I've seen many animals such as coyotes, bears, deer, mountain lions, and reptiles. Every hike is a different adventure but the result is always the same self satisfaction in staying healthy.
This city is pretty big but it operates as a small one. There are some clubs but they aren't really worth going to. Church is a huge thing here that I choose not to partake in. Because of this I have lost a lot of friends. Many of my close friends and family don't even know I do suicide girls because of their beliefs. In a way suicide girls is my dirty little secret.(I'm still looking for a suicide girl that is close to me to share my secret with. )š
As I'm sure all of you are aware, colorado recently passed a law allowing people of age to smoke marijuana. Well what you probably don't know is my city is the only city in Colorado that it is not legal to do so. This is a huge military town and because of this the military will not allow us to have our right. However we can still obtain a red card so people like me can continue to truck on. āļø
But the best thing about this city is the most breathe taking and entertaining zoo I've ever been to! The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is located on the side of the Rocky Mountains just to the right of NORAD.(military base inside the mountain) Even with our extreme weather they manage to keep everything from elephants and wallabies to wolves and my favorite animal giraffes! I'm able to pet and feed giraffes up close. They feel just like a horse and have an appetite of a hippo. You can see the entire city from the top of the zoo and even get a drink from their mountain side tiki bar.
All in all Colorado is beautiful and a perfect place to raise a family. But if you live life in the fast lane I wouldn't suggest living here. Hope my first blog on here wasn't too awful!
