Caution this is a rant: (should be humorous in a way though so enjoy)
So I woke up from a christmas eve nap to find out that my "best friend" (she is kinda the only female friend I have my age so she kinda gets that label) is getting a dance pole for christmas. which is fine and dandy if....
Lets track back to last weekend. My boyfriend and I this year pretty much have a "I want this buy it for me" kind of christmas, he got a fan for his car and I found a deal on a starter dance pole. Its not the xpole that I have been craving for years for, but its something to get me started until I can afford my dream pole. I was excited to get such a deal on one that I posted on facebook (im a nerd so what), That I was thrilled to be getting my dream work out tool, a pole to dance on. my "bestie" then posted her jelousness along with my fathers disapproval to it and all that jazz.
Back to present tense. So she is getting a cheaper pole for Christmas, the nice side of me is worried that she hasnt done any research in pole safety and installation that she will fall due to shitty grip of a plastic pole or worst will destroy her ceiling from pole installing., the truer side of me wishes she would stop with the wanting of things for the cool factor and living through my wants. Since I know she only wants one to say "I have a stripper pole" Which any true pole dancer (not stripper but dancer) knows what the mild difference is.
FOR THE GUYS TO UNDERSTAND
My boyfriend doesnt understand what the issue is, So for a man to understand I worked up this: Which made sense to my boy after.
Lets say you buy your dream project car say a old mustang, you fix it up and all and your best friend buys a shell mustang and puts in all the fancy parts you put in and wants your advice on building it because he knows nothing about cars and then wants to race it and put racing stripes and gay shit on it to look cool..
See my point....I am a little ticked off...
