Today my little guy ( almost 2) admitted to me he is an alien. Can't say I am surprised much. He's always been a little funny... but in in good, sweet and amusing way... unless he is biting his brother or swinging sticks around.
It happened like this... I called him my baby and he said no. I said "you're not a baby? Are you a boy?"
"NO"
"are you a kid?"
"NO"
"Are you a doggie" He likes to pretend.
"NO"
So on and on with the list of possibilities untill I got to Alien and he replied with a resounding YES!
Well this is good to know! LOL
Just dyed my hair Flaming red. I haven't deyed my hair funky colors for years. But I kept seeing all these beauties with lovely bright hair and would comment to my hubby who finally said .. well why don't you just do yours?
Ah, those why not questions... they get me every time. If I can't think of a good enough answer I feel compelled to do the thing!
And "because the other mommies on the playground don't have funky hair" was just not a good enough reason not to do it, here I am, Flaming Red! I will have to post a picture.
The unexpected part is that the mommies are telling me how great it looks and some, about how they used to dye their hair peacock blue or purple when they were young.
Nice to remember that even though I've got 3 kids I am still young and can have fun! I get too damn serious sometimes. Got to shake things up from time to time.
The kids love it too and I let my 9 y.o. daughter have a streak for herself. Looks awesome!
