Back in Chicago from southern California, and its a BITCH! Its amazing how used to the cold you get, when you leave and come back it all but slaps you in the head. Never the less, its good to be home.

Spent Christmas Eve on Laguna Beach, that was pretty cool. Went to the Holiday Bowl, that was a good time too. Learned a lesson: California drivers drive like donkeys wearing blindfolds. I swear to ya, one in five people on the expressway was text messaging, driving in at least two lanes at once and applying make-up or reading the paper. It was infuriating. At the very least, my plane coming back was only delayed an hour (there were a ton of cancelations yesterday and I'm gratful that I wasn't one of them!), and the fat old man I got stuck next to diddled his balls for 75% of the flight. I guess if that was the pinacle of my problems I'm good to go.

Oh! I got a bit of a treat at the end of the trip when my guy spotted an Ultimate Fighter in the airport. Last year we saw Mrs. Brady, this year an Ultimate Fighter, sweet! How'd things go for everybody else??
