hi kitten-creatures. maybe you do not feel that term is descriptive of you; if that's the case, how would you prefer i address you?
so, last week i started this 35-day hot yoga groupon i got for $30. what a deal. anyway, i've been doing this intense yoga and my body is sore all the time, but i can already feel myself becoming more flexible. i have always been very naturally flexible but now that i am getting a bit older i can feel that flexibility melting away. i want to maintain it. (i turn 26 in a month and a half.)
(this is my post-yoga face)
what else? that chronic flat problem i was having was really frustrating. it just got more frustrating! i bought a new tire and new tubes but nothing worked, so eventually i brought it back in to the bike shop that fixed my chronic flat problem last fall and they gave me a higher quality tube and checked everything. so, if i get another flat this week, i'm just going to give up and buy puncture-proof tires for the $1,000,000 they probably cost. the frustration my chronic flat tire problem causes me seriously lowers my quality of life.

on a steel horse i ride
yesterday i jumped on a journal meme bandwagon and wrote out a list, with pictures, of every house i've ever lived in. holy crap, you guys, i have lived in a lot of places. i mean, i knew that, because i have an excel spreadsheet of all the places i'd lived, but it took me an hour and a half to do writeups for every house and screencap them on google street view. right now i am living in house number 22 of all-time - 18 in my adult life. and i haven't moved in a year! i had a transient youth.

pictured, the hellhole shithole asshole apartment that i moved into when i first moved away from home, in beautiful burnaby, BC, where there were few trees and lots of concrete. it was always humid and warm in that place. uck.

here's another slumhole i lived in for a month in victoria. crackheads stole EVERYTHING we left on our back porch, including 2 bikes, drying artwork, and lightbulbs.

fast forward a few years to malloreigh having a job, and i lived in THIS slumhole, which is actually not a super bad house. it was $1500. i lived here with redmess and rin among other lovely ladies. we had some sweet parties here and i had a badass bedroom, my own bathroom, and a balcony off the top floor.

last one for today, this was the "house of god" that i lived in with three of my best friends. it was a drop-in kinda place - friends would just stop by and we'd sit on the front porch and holler at passers-by, cook big vegan meals, smoke cigarettes, and have fun. i lived in this place longer than any other - for 14 months.
so tell me about you. how many places have you lived in? do you like moving, or do you prefer to avoid it? do you have a home in your past that you miss a lot? (i do. a couple, actually.) what does it take to make you move out?
me, i am moving again at the end of the summer. that's how it goes.
