it's been more than twenty degrees two days in a row. (that means over sixty-eight for those of you who think in fahrenheit.) i love the warmth. i've been getting a lot of sun and drinking a lot of beer.
i just finished up the last of my schoolwork for the semester, with the exception of three exams i have yet to write, while sitting on my back porch in my underpants, listening to mother mother's "o my heart" album and the heard, getting sun on my pasty legs, drinking st ambroise blonde ale, listening to windchimes and birds and the soft padding of a kitty cat on dead leaves i have to rake.
oh fuck. summer. here goes.
thursday, a friend and i are going out of town... i'm excited to leave. school gives me a good balance, that way: i work my ass off in the city for three months and then i can decompress for a few days before coming back to deal with life again. it's a good system of rise and climax and denouement, for me.
here are some recent photos:
soy milk curdles in hot coffee, even on warm spring mornings on this cement patio
i have the most amazing roommates ever, and their love is the sweetest thing
i still have so much unpacking to do
tell me something you're learning right now.

electro:
Try putting the milk in first and then the coffee powder, microwave it till it melts together then add a little bit of hot water. That works for me unless i am in fact the soy wizzard.

I'm learning (or rather relearning) how to grade patterns for sewing. It makes my head hurt but I feel accomplished afterwards which makes me feel like I should learn more things........hmmmm.
