guys! i chose a major! and determined my educational path!
i am going to major in the VERY useful subject of... philosophy! i know, you're so excited that i'm going to have a degree i can really APPLY to real life, to a potential career.
*grin*
maybe not, but i really enjoy it, and anyway, the aim isn't usefulness. if i want a career i can be a webdesigner. and i can use an arts degree in a few different ways. i have some goals... and perhaps i will achieve them, and perhaps not, but at least i'll be able to have fun studying interesting things in the interim.
(i have to take a logic course... it's philosophical math... i think i will be okay, despite my misgivings about math.)
i will be going to simon fraser university eventually, probably. at least, i'm gearing my courses toward that goal. they have an excellent exchange program, apparently, so i'll be able to study abroad for a semester at one point. i'm very very excited about that. i am entertaining options now, though of course ever since spending time in sydney in late 2007/early 2008 i'm really focusing on the possibility of attending usydney. it's an excuse to go back there...! (i can see the lovely marni i hope, as she will likely be home by then.)
also entertaining the idea of a double major... i have quite a few electives that i can fill up, and i have a list of women's studies and political science courses i'm interested in. fun stuff.
this is me and good old solaris last week. you can't see my face but i PROMISE that outfit is too cute to be anyone's but mine.
speaking of outfits, i am finally feeling rad about the way i look. it's been long enough... ha.
hopefully cherry pie will have time to shoot a set of me soon.

Also, totally take the PS courses. Aristotle said that PS is the master science!
