I'm going to be back in Sydney soon. I am really excited for that, even though the Brisbane crew is really, really awesome. Sydney just holds so much more excitement... and I am a sucker for it. Also, being in Sydney means I'm closer to going home, and even though I'm having a BALL here, I am also really excited to be home...stable... certain.

So it's nearly Christmas. About a week til then, isn't it? Well, for me there is only about a week left. It just doesn't feel like it at all. I am a true child of the cold north, I guess... I associate early dark, Christmas lights, snow and chill, and parkas with the holidays. Here, there is none of that... because it's summer, and not the winter festival that 'Christmas' is meant to be. It was the same with Halloween. I guess I am atmospheric.

What do you associate with Christmas? What makes you feel the holiday spirit? How 'bout other holidays of the year?

New things in my life... Mac OS 10.5, Adobe Lightroom, Battlestar Galactica, black short-shorts. Yep, that about covers it.


Trivia of the day: did you know that Chewbacca's son was named Lubacca?

My bad, Chewie's son was actually named Lowbacca.
