I just lost this entire entry. Why will I never learn to compose these in TextEdit? Anyway, I stole this from Faye, because you obviously need to read about me more than you already have.

Falling into sharp, hot, deep or otherwise scary things that I have no reason to fall into

What type of food do you eat at your grandparents house?
When I was a kid we would go there for supper often and eat pretty normal white people food (roasts, turkey, potatoes, beans). When I was 13 or 14 my grandma got into making Jell-O Salad, but I have never been into jiggly food. Now I eat whatever I bring, and the vegetables my Mom makes without butter. Bless her soul.

What would you do if you were stranded on an island with the person you hate most?
I'd be really sarcastic. No joke. I'm sure we'd get over our differences rather quickly. I don't really hate anyone, so I'm assuming this as the only friend I've ever had who I really never talk to and don't like because he turned into a pretentious douchebag with a stupid haircut.

I am most opposed to:
The degradation and subjugation of others for one's own gain (whether based on race, gender, species or otherwise) and the forced stripping of their rights for profit that does not benefit them

What would you do if you found out you had been cheated on?
It would depend on the situation. I would probably want to talk about it - a lot - with everyone involved, and then think about it on my own. Assuming my partner wanted to stay with me, that is! But I would probably assume that if someone made a conscious decision to hurt me for their own in-the-moment satisfaction and could not simply ask me to remedy whatever it was that I wasn't giving them, it probably wasn't a healthy or productive relationship anyway and it should be over.

Do you stalk anyone on myspace?
Not usually but I am right now.

I am too old to be:
Caught dead in some of the outfits I wore in highschool.

I find the thought of childbirth:
Interesting - I'd like to experience it, but I want to experience everything.

Next door to my house is:
I live on a corner, so an apartment building on one side, a street on the other and cute houses across the alley.

My feet are:
Tucked up beneath me in my chair, as per usual. I'm giving myself knee problems.

My preferred style of jeans is:
I don't know actually. I've been wearing these "skinny jeans" for the last little while but they look kind of stupid on me. I just got some slouchy flared jeans which are very comfy but don't look that good and are inefficient for riding.

I know how to cook:
Amazing vegan cuisine, but I can't use recipes!

I am annoyed at:
My inability to talk to girls I have crushes on.

Men should always:
Play rough.

Women should never:
Let society define who they should be without consulting themselves first.

What do you think is the worst way to be dumped?
Without respect.

What child-related smell do you not like?
I don't mind child-related smells, or any smell really. Everything triggers memories and reactions, which I think is neat...

Giant jellyfish D: They can paralyse you, apparently.

What color hair do most of the people you are around have?
Natural! Jeez louise! Everyone is boring these days. Me too.

What object have you broken most recently?
I can't think of anything that recent! I feel great about it!

Victoria was always my favourite! (She was Posh Spice, aka Goth Spice)

What was the last thing to make you cry?
I don't remember. Yay!

I would like to be in an advertisement for:
Eco-ethical fabrics and clothing.

What are the stems of wine glasses for?
Grace!

My favorite shoes are:
Beat up, ethical and vegan! There are better shoes out there than your typical scene shit. Don't be part of the herd!

My mothers' greatest fear is:
I don't know. I should know her better!

Can you use chopsticks?
Quite well, though extended use makes my hand cramp. I don't know if I'm doing it right or what.

Do you prefer beaches or forests?
This is why I love BC so much! I can have BOTH!

Q. Do you wear glasses or contacts? Do you know your prescription, if you do?
Yes! I am pretty blind. Left eye: -7.75. Right eye: -6.50. I also have astigmatism in my left eye. It bothers me and makes me feel useless. I would be fucked without technology and that sucks. I am also too blind to get laser eye surgery with current technology. Here is me with my glasses, in early 2005 when I got this new pair:



Q. What is one very common skill that you don't know how to do?
I can't whistle! No joke. I do occasionally let a low sound out of my mouth for impact when miming crashes (or a bad joke crashing to the earth).

So as I was telling Peacemaker in his journal, I went to a Bike Prom in Victoria the other week and performed with The Brakes. It was hot but I got way too smashed and thus I don't remember much, but here is a photo.



Boy am I ever dorky...

Oh yeah, and I got my tattoo coloured by Gerry Kramer. He came to Vancouver and I got to visit a top-secret amazing tattoo shop to get it done which was a pleasure. Sadly I missed the midnight bike ride later that night because I was SO bushed from an afternoon of being scraped at with a needle.

Okay, now if you aren't TOO overloaded with the Mal, here are some random things.

I can almost put my foot behind my head and I can definitely rest it on the side of my head but I can't touch my toes. Weird, because I have short legs.

I am wearing 60spf sunscreen on my tattoo right now, but none on the rest of my body. I will have a funny tan perhaps.

I washed ALL the dishes before I left for work today because I am nice like that.

I need to leave work before 5:30pm so I can make it to the pet store to buy my cat INNOVA brand food. I pamper him. ^_^

Q. How much money do you spend on transportation in a month - cabs, car, insurance, gas, bus, bike, etc.?

A. I spend on average about $300 a month on trandsportation (car insurance, gas) and if you average in the oil changes every couple months, regular maintenence (my car is older, and i usually need to repair/replace something big once a year), etc, it's about $400 a month.
