I went to a show tonight. Yes, sadly, this is a big deal for me. I left the house, and i dare say i looked good, and got some much needed human excitement.

As big of a surprise as it seems to be to everyone who knows me...i do actually like music. I even like hardcore. I dont like the screaming so much, but i adore guitar riffs and especially heavy bass.

I saw my friend Adam's band, De Noir, play. That is the primary reason why i went. Secondary reasons include the following: Wanting to be seen doing something, wanting to see who else goes to these things, needing to find something to distract me, and just enjoying some nice loud music.

I havent been to a big show in years, and this felt good. I dont want to make anyone think i am intruding on "their" thing but i think i will probably go to more of these shows in the future.
