Thanks for your encouragement, I have always believed that maintaining faith in a project or idea over the duration of its execution is one of the hardest aspects of being a creative person, there is always this little voice saying 'your wasting your time, nobody will be interested', so thanks for bolstering my faith in this one, it means a lot to get a little positive feedback.
I like your manipulation of the depth of field in the Darfur Rally pictures, unusual in documentary style work.
I remember reading the Biography of Mark Rothko who basicaly painted these huge abstract color fields for decades and then comitted suicide in his studio one day in his late fifities I think, basically lost his faith in the work he had spent a lifetime doing.
Projects are good though, I always like to have several on the go because you can get bored with one and work on another for a while, they are good for getting your work published too.
