Bit grumpy right now. Oh, I'm looking forward to Christmas, at least in potential. But this is way earlier than I have ever wanted to be awake, and why? Because I opted to go to visit my family via 7:30 am bus. Which in itself is not so bad - I did have a choice in the matter and went with the one that got me there with some of Christmas remaining.
But, unfortunately, there is a massive winter storm, and there have been bus cancellations for the past two days, which may wind up including my bus, today. So here I am, up at 5:40 AM, wondering frantically if I'm actually going to be able to go anywhere, and I can't tell because no one is working at the bus depot until 6. 6 is when I need to fucking well leave to get there in time if there's a bus going. And you would think that someone over there might possibly have taken into account the notion that this might be true for some of their customers, seeing as almost by definition said customers do not have cars.
Edit: 6:25 am. The hotline for checking if there are cancellations informs me that their national call center or whatever is closed at the moment. The bus depot number was busy for a bit, now it just rings and rings and rings. The website hasn't updated. In summary, fuck you, Jefferson Lines.
Edit: 6:49 am. Busy, then rings and rings and rings. No website update. Even if I call a cab I'm not sure I'd be able to get to the bus depot in time if the bus is actually leaving. Fuck fuck fuck.
Final edit: Yeah. As of 7:15 had been completely unable to reach anyone at the depot and had no chance whatsoever of getting there by 7:30 scheduled departure time. This isn't happening. And fuck them for not doing anything at all to keep their customers informed.

That sucks. I saw all the bus delays in the news. Surprisingly, the airports weren't experiencing as many delays
