I'm going to visit my parents in Cincinnati next week - heading down with them on Monday (they're in town to spend some time at the family cabin at the lake, and see some friends), and will be back late on Sunday the 16th via my first ever direct plane flight. Don't expect to hear much from me while I'm down there, as I'm only going to be able to do significant internet stuff on their computer(s) and don't really want to use them to visit a porn site. Even one as classy as SG.
I am currently stocking my Kindle with reading material for the trip and would welcome fantasy and/or SF suggestions. (They don't need to be in the Kindle store - I won't be buying them.) It's not like I don't have ideas already, but discovering something new to enjoy would be a nice added spice. It does need to be in that general category, though. I've found a gigantic collection of F&SF ebooks (15 thousand -before- the 17 updates that have followed), but more general fiction/mystery/romance/etc has been a lot harder to track down on BitTorrent.
I'd also welcome suggestions as to uniquely Cincinnati destinations - museums, restaurants, interesting locally-owned stores, etc. I'm sure my parents will have a guidebook or something, and will have done some looking of their own, but their interests aren't perfectly aligned with mine and they're not exactly young and hip anymore.
