So...I went out this afternoon dropping off resumes to places that aren't even hiring until close to Santa Day (I have a rant for you later Santa-bitch). I was wasting my time and gas on this crap...
Anyways...I just got home and hopped on monster.ca. I found a job listing through a temp. agency and applied. About 10 minutes later I get a phone call from one of their people with a different job opportunity (one with more hours), and an interview for me tomorrow morning.
I'm happy...happy that the job requires me to work in a factory all day with candy and no customers. Now...I don't have the job yet, but I am bloody-well going to try my best at this interview tomorrow. This job is much more shiny than anything that I've had the least bit potential at getting thus far.
Whoot.
Modelling jobs I hope to continue. Those should be the "fun" jobs on the side...not what I'm trying to base my entire income around (as I have been lately )! Hopefully with a "real" job and some money, I can afford to drive myself around and get myself a modelling agent. I'd doso right now, but without the means of transportation to get myself into Toronto, it's pretty much useless.
Perhaps there will be that day when I can leave these "real" jobs and go be a model full time. It would be a lot of work, but work that I can express myself in.
