Yesterday proved to be rather entertaining!

HexX and I brought Reaver to the vet yesterday afternoon in the pouring rain. He was quite spooked by the whole experience...but we got out of there as quickly as possible. It was a long drive home...got stuck in rush hour. Very hungry by this point, we went out for food.

We went to a pizza place just around the corner from our building. After placing our order, we heard this horribly loud electrical type sound. So we went outside to see what was going on. Down the street there were a bunch of people coming out of a building and a ton of smoke overhead. We assumed that a transformer had esploded or something. So we stayed out there to see if anything was going to happen...oh it did. A couple minutes later right in front of all these people, there was a huge electrical explosion/spark thingy (which was quite scary)! A wire had fallen from the building and shorted out. I guess that it must have hit the sign out the front (my best guess...). Quite the display, no one hurt, but the power in the entire area was out for a good hour. I was pleased
