Anime North was fun, though extremely tiring! I failed to mention in my last entry that I was going to be working there (since I'm poor and wouldn't have gone otherwise). So a lot of the weekend consisted of selling people stuff from Anime Pavilion (the business that I was working for), as well as the initial unpacking and packing up at the end. I'm pretty sore. A lot of time on my feet, which I haven't been all that used to lately!
The non-work times were spent either eating or sleeping, with the exception of Saturday night. That night included a bit of drinking, then off to the dance and yaoi room (which I got I.D.ed to get into...that made me laugh, a LOT!).
I really didn't stay up too late, I was pretty tired and bored by about 3am, and I figured I had to get up at a decent time the next day.
As part of my pay, I got myself the Sailor Moon SuperS boxset, the one and only thing that I got myself all weekend. And yes, I'm a total git for getting Sailor Moon! I love it though, brings back happy memories of my childhood. It's a good escape from the currently depressing reality.
I hope to rest up some more before going to see MSI on Wednesday night! Then some more rest before SG Prom, my driving test, and VNV Nation next week!
As much as I look forward to these events (minus the driving test), it's almost like I can't wait for them to be over. They are fun, but I always find myself more satisfied afterwards with the happy memories from the event. I'm a weirdo....
Pictures from Anime North to come soon...I hope
