Weird and lengthy story for those of you that can sit through it:
SPOILERS! (Click to view)
Saturday night something rather odd happened. I went over to the convenience store next to my building to get some money from the ATM, and this strange man just walked right up to me. He told me that I should stand closer to the ATM, to which I initially thought Oh, he must not know whether or not I'm in line.... I asked him why, and he ignored the question and said that he knew me from somewhere, and stepped back with a funny look on his face. I thought that he meant from SG, since he was acting rather awkward and shy. Well, he then he went on to refer to me as an elf, and inquired as to why I was here, and why I was walking around like a human. My thought changed rather quickly. He went on to open his arms up high, told me This is magic, and asked me what he was (that as an elf I could see his aura...or something). I told him that I didn't know, so he asked me if he was human. By this point I was pretty stunned; by this point, the convenience store owner had called the police. The man caught ear of this, and bid me farewell. I went ahead to get my money, and I left the store.
I walked back to my building, and just inside the front doors, there he was again, sitting on the floor. Fortunately enough, there were 2 people there with him, who I thought he was with (I was wrong). At least now I had witnesses in case he tried anything funny. I went in, and he said something like We meet again elf, you live in this building...that doesn't even exist. I asked what they were doing this evening, and the 2 people there gave me a puzzled look. I realized that he was on his own. He went on to tell me that my voice had changed, and again how I walk around like a human, and something about having style and beauty. A few compliments that would have seemed normal, if he wasn't referring to me as an elf, and talking like he was playing Dungeons and Dragons. He told me not to listen to "them", that my confidence was faded...something like that.
After the 2 people laughed at him, and he appeared to be getting annoyed, I told him that I had to go. The last thing that he told me was: Thank you for not telling me that you aren't an elf.
It freaks me out that he knows where I live now...but I really wonder what the hell was going on there. Maybe he was just a nerd that lost his marbles. It was an especially strange experience because a lot of the things that he told me weren't far from the truth. Perhaps he does read my journal...
Now I just have to make sure that no one finds out that I'm secretly an elf
Aside from an entertaining Saturday night, we FINALLY got our new bed yesterday. Hopefully my back troubles will ease up a bit because of it. My first sleep on it last night wasn't the best, but I was told that's how it will be for the first couple of nights.
A fashion show, how scary for me. I haven't done one of these before...I only have one pair of heels that I can barely walk in. I invite you all to come watch me fall on my ass.
For those of you that can't make it, you're always welcome to vote for me, or any one of the lovely ladies that you recognize over at Toronto Model Bookings.
