I figure it's about time I posted something new!
A big thank you to the couple of sweethearts that have bought prints so far
For those that might have somehow missed the last post, prints can be found: HERE.
Oh...and a HUUUUGE thank you to johnlennon for getting me a PSP. I don't know what I did to deserve that, but I must be a half decent friend....or logged enough hours playing Warcraft 3 to get a prize
Onto the life shite....
I've been working very little due to the after holiday hour cut backs...and I'll soon be making even less money if they move me to a floor position. I've had injuries to my neck in the past that have made it really painful for me to be at work. The constant looking down, and strain on my back in general has left me so that Tylenol 3's don't even work most days....so...floor position. 30cent pay cut. Fuck you (large corporate P.O.S.).
I've been looking into voice acting a lot more intensively recently. I've been meaning to at least give it a shot, make a demo CD and look for an agent. If this pans out, there is absolutely no reason as to why I shouldn't be able to move to Toronto. I can do that, and modelling, and earn a much more respectable living thanI am now.
My birthday is coming up soon. I'm going to be 24...my goal was to be on my way to doing something career-wise by the time I turn 25. Well, I have this year.
This year I want to start voice acting.
I want to shoot a set, and have it accepted for once.
I want to move to Toronto.
I want to somehow afford to lease/finance a car because I'm going fucking crazy without one.
I want to be a hell of a lot happier than I was in 2006.

Many years ago, I went on some auditions for voice work, because everyone, including my agent thought I had a great voice. Yeah, I know, I look great for radio.
The problem I had was that while my voice sounded good, I couldn't manipulate it much. I couldn't hit every inflection and high and low and whatever else the client wanted everytime. I know that if I had taken some courses, I would have probably gotten a lot more control over my voice, but I was too lazy, and poor, to do it.
Like you, I wish I could move to Toronto, so I really hope you can manage that.
