The first day of work has left me with a rather nasty headache. Being under those bright department store lights all day....whew! Today was just orientation, so I spent most of the day in the training room reading and signing my name a million times.
Tonight and tomorrow are going to suck the big one.
Tomorrow we are having (not by choice) new windows and doors installed in the living room area, and bedroom. Sooo....everything on the balcony has to be brought inside, all the shit near the windows (including this computer) has to be moved away. They need at least a 3 foot clearance, and a pathway to and from the front door to the windows. On top of this, I will have to get up super early tomorrow to get the cats out of here and boarded at their vet.
To us I say "Good fucking luck!".
Since the new one moved in, we've barely had any room in here to begin with (3 people in a 1 bedroom). All his stuff is on the balcony, and there is little room in here to store it. On top of that, we're not really supposed to have him living here. We were supposed to switch to a 2 bedroom, but apparently we have to give our 2 months notice, even before switching to a new place in the same building. Facking stupid.
The good news in all this is that I have a job. It will suck, but I will have money. This also means that I will be able to get the fuck out of this hell hole of a city in the near future. Huzzah!
