Last year sucked. How bad did it suck? Well, uh... Shit, use your own fucking metaphor. Anyway, it sucked. Bad. Not Michael Jackson bad either. My wife was a tremendous burden and I was reminded of the fact that a lot of people stay in marriages just because it's convenient. Bah! I stay in mine because my wife gives amazing head. Oh, and I'm still stupidly crazy for her. Don't tell her, though! She already knows, so spare the air in your lungs for something better. Like coughing. Really, in all my live-long-day life I've only wanted one damn thing: a girlfriend. My wife fits that need very well, thank you, but what troubles in these seas!
It's funny, environmentalists. They think the world is dying. It isn't. It's just becoming inhospitable for stupid humanity. Dumb ass environmentalists. I'm eating popcorn right now and typing with my one butter-free hand and the word environmentalists really sucks right now.
Environmentalists, environmentalists, environmentalists, environmentalists, environmentalists, environmentalists, environmentalists, environmentalists, environmentalists, environmentalists, environmentalists, environmentalists, environmentalists...
Copy and paste, people. Copy and paste. Can you imagine how good Salinger could've been with a computer? Man... The mind boggles. Oh! Read "In Cold Blood" right away. It lives up to the hype. Those two murderers were just stupid! Capote had his mojo flowing during that particular period of exploitation.
"Sweeney Todd" was a pretty tame musical, and this is a criticism coming from a man who hates musicals (except "The Muppets Movie"... I mean, why are there so many songs about rainbows? The theme song to "Reading Rainbow" is the only one I can think of offhand, but never doubt Kermit, man. Is that really even a musical? Hell yes. I can't even remember anything outside of all the damn singing...). I think the combination of the stupid lyrics and the garbled English accents kind of made following what the fuck Depp and Carter were saying damn near impossible. Also, being a tragedy, it was predictable what the fuck was going to happen. I even figured out the old hag was Todd's estranged wife. Why else spare so much camera time to her? Bah! Go watch "No Country For Old Men" or "atonement" instead, okay?
Rambling is fun. Fucking-a!

Heh, it's nice of you to say, but I really don't have the training or skill to really act in anything other than desperate-for-actors community theatre. My real skill lies in the technical stuff, like stage management and set construction.
kleio:
Not stage shy - just not very good at it. It's not the type of thing you can just do if you're comfortable on stage - you also need talent, training, and real dedication to be good. I prefer to run things and build things.
