I been reconnecting with the old folk. Listening to the stories. Learning. Trying to carve a better way from the mistakes of the past. Loving and accepting my family for who they are, not who I think they should be.
Its incredible what you can learn if you sit down and listen to older people. Some of the most incredible stories I have ever heard have been from when I did some volunteer work at a nursing home.
