My grandma died Saturday morning, 91 years old.
She smoked 20 cigarettes, drank a bottle of red wine + 1 shot of whiskey everyday... worked all her life serving others, saw WWI, WWII and numerous inventions like:
the radio,
television,
vacuum cleaner,
neon lights,
air planes,
colour photography,
cars,
PEZ candy,
penicillin,
bubble gum,
yo-yo,
the atomic bomb,
Holocaust,
Mr. Potato Head,
cellular phones
(not everything from 1916-2007 listed
),
heard Einstein's Theory of Relativity, saw the Berlin wall come up and down, buried 2 of her sons, 1 husband and 7 of her siblings, got breast cancer, got over it, got lung cancer... and it finally won.

We will never forget, but Friday we say goodbye...

hey now, we were in a canoe!!! paul simon fits in that context, just trust me. hendrix was really more suited to watching the room slowly fill with light as the next day started after a long night of partying

lizzi:
