Ain't she a beauty?

Had the best weekend in a long time... doing absolutely nothing for 2 days, not missing anything related to work!
Actually, I feel that my life just began a month ago again after having spent the last 4 years working everyday and only have a day to myself once each 2 months...
Had to do a lot to get my company name out there, used a ton of money, time and effort to achieve the right kinda PR. I went the way it should and I'm glad that I took the time to do it... but... Looking back at the last couple of years I can't really remember a lot of things that have happened, it seems as if the entire period of 4 years in just one big blur. Went down with stress a couple of times, had serious illness and deaths in my family at that period. That really fucked the whole she-bang up, and resulted in me almost throwing the best relationship I've ever had in my life, right out of the window. The things she had to put up with... I'll never forgive myself for neglecting her, for not being home for her birthday and forgetting how big a part of me she really is (and NO, I'm not referring to my dog)

So ending last year, I promised myself to stop it all - right away!

I really feel as if I'm starting a new part of my life, and it feels right. No more working weekends, no more working 8am till 02am... but more time and effort to be with the ones I love.
Even if I was paid a million to go back to my old schedule I wouldn't do it ever again... It's just not worth it, wasting my life away working and missing all the good things - so take my advise:
Don't get caught in the details cause you might miss the big picture...!

Have you ever tried loosing yourself while searching through the opportunities in life?
