What you take out of your ATM in Vegas, stays in Vegas
(a take off on a famous American commercial about Vegas.....
Vegas is an interesting place. Take away the Casinos, and maybe even with them, it is a big strip mall in the desert.
But the weather is nice and sunny.
Women, music, and gambling dominate. The overt sexuality is quite extraordinary - almost enough to make me take on militant feminist views. Gambling is a winning game for those who know the odds and want t concentrate.
I was at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, and on Friday and Saturday nights, there were strippers (well, they had clothes, but barely) dancing on poles the entire evening, right behind the gaming tables. Not being a fan of silicon, I can't say it was erotic - though they did have hardbodies, true enough. And it just seemed a bit unseemly to me given that the gaming area is open to women.
Interestingly, there were more than a few lesbian couples (of all ages).
I wonder why at that particular hotel/casino. (I think another one is known for the gay crowd, but it may be the gay male crowd.) I did not take my camera this time (none of them) because of weight limitations (the TSA does a lot of checking so I travel with barely enough to change clothes twice.
I am not sure I will go back, at least any time soon. Two women were interested in going out with me (had dinner with one) (waitresses, pretty cute). The nicer one of the two was probably too nice for me (very cute) given our age difference, though I certainly that it was nice she was interested. We'll see. I tend to clam up with things become more intimate (emotional closeness) - tis my best guess.
Maybe it's the new haircut.....radical (more or less) change....
