Huh.
Well, Aaraa is asking to be archived. I guess that means Kirby is now my only friend (well, on the site, anyway). Don't leave me, Kirby! I'll be so lonely without you! *sob*
Anyway, I haven't been updating lately, but that's because not much is going on. If you hadn't noticed, my life goes in cycles like that. Aaraa went away to college, so I won't get to see her again until maybe Christmas time (although I might go out to visit). Esther was supposed to come visit me, but she's having problems with her room-mates. Problems which may eventually involve opposing law firms. So, she's a touch busy to be wandering around the country saying hi to old friends.
I did go out to the mountains to visit Jay on Labor Day weekend. She was really stressed from a new job and a recent divorce, and kinda took it out on me. I wasn't as sensitive as I could have been, so now she might be mad at me. Or maybe not. I'm not sure I really figure into her life so significantly that she thinks about me when I'm not there. I tried calling her to talk about things the other day, but she didn't answer. Of course, that's almost always true anyway, so who knows what's going on. The wonderful thing about our relationship is that between how busy she is and how far apart we are, for months at a time there is no functional difference between normalcy and the silent treatment. She'll probably give me a call back in a few days or a week.
Other than that, I have a dinner this weekend and a party at the end of the month, but it's all boring, normal life in the interim. It's a good rest before October, though. Halloween party, SG live coming through (must remember to get tickets) and the Dresden Dolls will be playing in DC again (likewise with the advance ticket purchase).
