Well, I have survived the first couple days of school. I think I'm going to enjoy most of my classes. I'm going to reserve opinions on the last couple until I actually see a bit more of what they entail.
I have finally settled everything from all of my stresses last year. I can throw away the papers and forget all about it. Thank god. Cause even thinking about discussing the issues was just not healthy for me. When I get stressed, it manifests itself in physical symptoms. I really hope that I can avoid stress-induced stomach viruses this year.
One thing that I know I am going to miss is the choir. I have a Wednesday night class, and already I know that I'm going to love it. I'm just not sure what I'm going to do for relaxation to replace choir. I mean, who can replace that group? Well, at least I get to sleep in on Saturdays. It's a small comfort at least.
My boy has started school as well. I'm proud of him for making that decision, even if it has meant a lot of stress in the past week. It's going to be so different with both of us studying or working on homework. We just passed the 18 month mark yesterday, and this will be the first time that we're both students. And the dissing each other's schools thing has already started.
It will be interesting to see how things go when we're both stressed out. He usually calms me down when I'm nearing the breakdown stage, so we'll see how well it works now when things are going both ways.
