Yesterday was a long day, but very fun. I spent most of the day at Fort Edmonton Park with my boyfriend. It was a lot of fun, I haven't been there in a long time. And being from Labrador, he doesn't know much about Alberta history. It was a lot of walking, which was good (cause I'm trying to do more exercise). I've even got a bit of a tan now. They had some chickens on the loose though. They took over 1885, and were distracting to a lot of people. I was feeling like such a nerd all day, it was wonderful.
And then after all of the history, I went to a good friend's bridal shower. I only knew a couple of people, but it went really well. There was a lot of laughing, and food, and way more laughing. I really enjoyed myself, but it takes a lot of energy to be social around a lot of people that you don't know. Well, at least for me. Sometimes I can be quite shy and awkward, and it takes a lot of effort to break out of that.
I got dropped off by a friend who I haven't seen since my dorm days, and met up with a bunch of members who I haven't seen for quite a while. I got literally dragged along to Suburbs. I wish I was feeling more upbeat and appropriate, but it seemed like a place that I could enjoy under different circumstances. Somehow being so tired that one is yawning in a very upbeat club just doesn't bode well. whoops

And yes, you read that right... I have a boyfriend.
