Hi everyone !
I thought this blog homework would be hard to answer because of the amount of books I love but in fact... not. Because there is a book that I have loved so much since I am a child, and which has been realy important for me, for a very long time.
It is a book from a writer who is dead now, and who left me with a lot of books I loved, and also with an unfinished trilogy. His books kinda were all my world when I was a child. He wrote three trilogy (and began a fourth one) but all were linked, you could find characters from the other books, or places... Most of these books took place in an imaginary world called Gwendalavir, where you could find imaginary creatures such as Ts'liches. I'm so moved just by writing about these books because I was a child with a lot of imagination, always in imaginary worlds, talking with imaginary friends... And most of the time I was in Gwendalavir.
Among this writer's books (he was called Pierre Bottero) the one I would love more to see made into a movie isn't hard to choose, because even if I love them so much (and would love to see aaall made into movies) there is one that is about a character who was so dear to me. It is called Ellana, Le Pacte des Marchombres. It is about Ellana, who is a girl who looses her parents as a child, is raised by a non-human people called "Petits" (french for Little) and grows very independant and innocent. One day, she decides to go back to the humans, and she will seek who to become... And discover the Marchombre (maybe it could be shadow walkers in english) path. They are very independant people, embodying freedom and harmony. They made me dream so much as a child, and they still do ! I used to imagine I was one of them...
