Lately, I went to see Ruffin's J'veux du soleil, which is a movie about the yellow jackets movement. Ruffin is a journalist for the Fakir journal, and also a politic for the France Insoumise, and he already did a movie which was called Merci Patron and was realy good too.
In J'veux du soleil (it means I want sun, and it is also a song) he makes a tour of french trafic circles where the yellow jackets are since the beginning of the movement, and he talks with people about their reasons to do this movement, about what that changes for them, about their lives, about what they want, what they fear, what they hope... It is realy touching and human and I highly recommand this movie ! I think it is important to listen to this people, to give them the oportunity to talk about them and about why they go to the trafic circles every saturday. The yellow jackets movement is realy important and I am happy this movie exists, to make the movement enter the cinemas, and to make hear more the people in yellow jackets !
That's why I wanted to talk about this movie as my fav documentary for the homework of this week, @rambo @missy
(yes my "yellow jacket" is kinda orange)
