The holidays (as we now seem to be calling them) were a bit of a mixed bag. christmas was the usual round of kitchen work and arguments punctuated by Eastenders. Hogmany was lovely. Saw Sons and Daughters playing a club in Glasgow. They were fantastic, with the best frontwoman I've seem since the glorious PJ. I bow before her.
There followed family trouble. I can only hope for the best, prepare for the worst. I don't want to watch this happen again, but if it does, I know I'll get through, one way or another. Whether she does is, sadly, not up to me.
Isn't it anoying when people speak in riddles? Yes? Good.
You know, I do sometimes wonder if there isn't something the slightest bit masochistic about my love for this site. A place that celebrates girls who are a bit like me, only better looking.* hmmm.
anyway, i've decided to learn to play the harmonica.
hope you all had a nice time and got some excellent swag/ mild hangovers.
i'm off to stare at germaine greer on celeb big brother and wonder whether the world's gone mad, or I have.
*NB: wondering, not fishing for compliments. anyone taking this as such will be summarily kicked up the fanny.
