i got to thinking:
nostalgia is a canker. you look back on your life and the things that went before become shrouded in so much rose-tinted gloop that you start to belive that this other you, the one from the sunny photo in the park that summer, was the real you. one you've now lost. but it's not true. you were just as scared then. just as hurt, probably more confused, confilcted, adrift.
every day must be a salad day, if you want to stay awake

I was nostalgic for the 80's at the begininng of the month. Then over christmas I saw that series about the various years. I've managed to stop laughing now and no longer feel nostalgic. Still reckon they should rescreen Monkey! though.
