The plan to update more often did not go well. Le sigh. In my defense, I have been pure dead busy, like:
(steel yourselves for some reverse-chronological-order bullet point action)
- on Saturday, we DJ'd our friend's wedding reception at the swank Alasdair-Grey-muraled Oran Mor. A great time was had by all (although that probably had little to do with out selection of PUNK! RAWK! CLASSICS!). I got to play both ABBA and Rammstein though, so I was happy as Larry.
- Friday had a very nice lunch and the obligatory few Paddy's day pints o'ra black stuff with Glasgow's premier Sooth Side ambassador
- The previous weekend I actually managed to get snowed *into* the office 'til about 6am on Sunday morning. This is quite the wrong way round, as I'm sure you'll agree. We were editing a daft wee film for the above referred to mate's stag night. It turned out kinda pish, but he seemed to appreciate it, and I'm now much better at working Final Cut Pro while sleeplessness has rendered me medically blind...
- The whole week previous to that I basically didn't do anything but sleep, go to work and shoot the offending stag night film*.
So you see, my lovelies, I haven't been neglecting you just to sit on the couch repeatedly watching The Man Who Fell to Earth and drinking cheap white wine . Well, a wee bit of that too, maybe.
I've been to a few good gigs in the last month too, I now remember - life's gone a bit bluegrass for me lately. If you're at all that way inclined you should definately check out:
Langhorn Slim , who's as brilliantly raucous and CBGBs as it's possible to be while also being a wee bit old timey
and
Blueflint, because they're amazing musicans and also because girls playing banjo is officially the cutest thing that's not maufactured in Japan.
This week we're having a bit of a sad Work Girls Night Out to see Graham Coxon, where we will doubtless be swaying gently, and dribbling on ourselves just a little:
.
Oooh, but he is the thinking indiewoman's crumpet.
*believe me, it was way less interesting than the pictures "stag night film" is conjuring up in your mind

You need any help with planning, I know this inside out now. Is it similar to mine or more classical like a play?
