Six months ago, I had an appointment with my doctor due to extreme spikes with my blood pressure. I was placed on blood pressure meds and he told me to try to find ways to bring down my stress and 'try to lose some weight - the more the better'
Today, My blood pressure is down to where I've used to have it (floats in between 110/70 to 120/80), eating better, finding better ways to manage stress, and - best of all - down 70 pounds by big diet changes, measuring servings, getting some more steps in daily.
Ideally by the end of January, I'll be able to get off the meds and get a good feel for where the rest of my health is currently.
Gotta try to make changes...
