A day like today reminds me why I love the city so much.
Silently coasting into the station, admiring the strict white halogen light turning the tangle of rail in the darkness into rivulets of liquid silver. Oppressive, hot thick air. A thousand people to watch on the 3/4 mile walk from Liverpool Street to Fenchurch. Warm beer and strained conversation with nice, polite colleagues.
Makes it worth getting up...

How I wish i would be able to visit London with better time before totally leaving Europe. Would be such a shame not to be familiar with the city!
