I'm wondering what the world feels like when it's not dulled by painkillers. Nothing seems to have gone right since the pain started and now that I can't feel anything all I seem to do is cause other people pain.

I don't know whether I'm still trying my hardest or if I'm back to how I was months ago being selfish and argumentative. I'm also...

I know there is something wrong as I've spent all day looking forward to getting home, putting the heating on and then hitting whatever bottle comes to hand first (ended up as a Bordeaux rather than Jack). My sole aim for today was to succeed in leaving work and come home to drink. Alone. Without interruption until I fall asleep.

I really do feel like...

2009 has been, without doubt, the single greatest year of my existence. There is very little I can say to encompass the entire span of the last 365 days except that I feel I've lived more than I thought I possibly could. When I started 2009 unconsciously drunk, alone and in a flat that had a sofa and a bed as it's only furniture, I...

You missed off getting very drunk at the beer festival and going to your first ice hockey game. Glad I was able to be involved in some of those, let's face it you couldn't have done the explosives exam without my superior knowledge. tongue

I'm not sure how I can have a great weekend - topped off by winning tickets to the XFM Winter Wonderland on Wednesday - and yet, after onnly eight hours at work dealing with overpaid, under educated retards, I'm left seething with my shoulders hunched ready to chip the teeth of the next person who pisses me off. Which, today, happened to be the receptionist...

What a great weekend - What a great few weeks!

Saturday was more fun than I've had in a long time with one person and Sunday's roast with my closest friends was also right up there. Even if my parsnips carbonised themsleves to the oven tray.

I still can't believe how far I've come in just one year. From the person I was when she...

I'm pretty sure I'm home again but I can't be 100% seeing as I'm also pretty sure I've only just left on Monday morning?!

The week has gone so quickly as it's been non-stop and such a great experience.

I'm massively excited that I passed and can now go on to work in that field properly without having to have supervision or only do the...

There have been so many times in the last year where I've felt I've tried my hardest. I've pushed myself on new things, I've stopped doing things I shouldn't and I've passed the tests I needed to.

But no matter how much I've put in on some things I've still failed. And I'm suffering because of it. I hate failure.

I always want the best...
