My name was on BoingBoingfor a split second, but that's literally 2 million people that saw it for that split second! Yep...and people who see it or hear it won't forget my name.
My given name is MB <top secret!!!> BTW and thank you sixsixty for turning me onto that fucking hilarious bible quote.
There is also a compilation/scam in progress. A friend of BB wants to compile short stories with the theme of something happening to someone or something by coming in contact with those bins of discarded liquid that airport security is generating, now that there is a ban on boarding planes with liquids. You pay $5 but since its a BB faved event you are probably going to have plenty of readers and if you have a website or blog, which I am trying to generate, you will have links and traffic.
It seems like they are angling for something in the slipstream or pulp sci-fi genre. I have about 1/10th of the story finished, with no idea of a plot, only one interesting, incident/character/plot development scene in mind that has nothing to do with airports (so far as I know) and pages to go. I'm not going to give them crap, and its not like I don't have a bunch of other things I have to focus my mind on every week, so there is a lot of my own finger crossing going on behind my back, hoping that I can come up with a story before their undisclosed deadlines end.
I was wondering can I use some of my friends here for character profiles? Any volunteers? The more sui generis you are the better. I need this story to have some traction.

Oh yeah..so that blog I started is called Let's Not Ruin This With Words. Can I keep it up? What is my tone? I set a theme of awkward english. Is that going to be a pain for readers? Why am I doing this to myself?
Thematically I'm trying to keep the weird sentences to only blurbs and titles, not in the actual text I write. It all suggests that I am well educated in english grammar and style conventions, which I am not. Other than that...links to old news that is interesting news, links to new culture , as well as paintings, books, games, and any post-digitalia that i certify as interesting, which, believe me, I can do. The header picture I'd like to change so it has themes of hobos and abandoned shopping carts, my two favorite things right now. Maybe just the abandoned shopping cart...
like so.

or with this inserted somewhere, (with contrasts muted)

How do I find the time for this????

"But it reflects the dynamic nature of art today and the idea that the creative process that goes into a work of art is the most important thing..."
That's hilarious. What kind of 'creative process' is signing a urinal??
I would actually agree that it's one of the most influential pieces (I don't think I'd say the most), but that's just because people are simple minded
Pretty funny that Warhol's marilyn piece was third too... as you brought him up as well.
