You have no idea how hard it is to design anything to a old conservative company, you can't do anything that looks good, you have to go by the books (the design elements that some secretary in ad agency whipped together during lunchtime) you cant propose anything to them since you are just a young punk who thinks he knows something and best of all, they think you can make turquoise text on white paper (the design elements they paid so dearly) look amazing just because you are a graphic designer. Well the good thing is, I have a gift of bullshit-talk and I can convince them that the work I do is necessary and good, and they pay me for it.

I get thrust out into the real world in under a month after 4 years of school, so I'll be flailing desperately trying to avoid such a situation as yours - one I hear too often like horror stories told to young children. I just hope that desperation for funds doesn't win out over my naive virgin experience.
