Bought myself a new lens to encourage myself to get back into photography. 55-200mm Nikon. I know it's not the best but better than the 18-55 that came with the camera. 
If anyones a keen photographer that's got some tips they want to share I'd appreciate the advice.
Got chatting in a pub to someone that is a keen SLR rather than DSLR user and I thought, awesome I can learn some stuff here! Ended up her being way to pissed to actually tell me anything of use and kept asking me what my dream photo would be! Obviously half the pictures on SG would be a dream photo for me 
but I wasn't ready to announce that to someone I'd just met. Instead I got a semi decent shot in the dark of my Guinness on long exposer and another of my dog this morning
