Well, I'm back home in OKC and surprised to find I missed it! Already worked two shifts and just got off, so I guess life is back to normal.
There was good news and bad news waiting for me when I got home. I was being considered for a promotion at work, but I lost out to someone transferring in from Vegas. So that was a disappointment, it would have meant good $$$ for the first time in my life, lol.
But, among the bills and junk mail waiting for me was some good news! I had applied for a Pell Grant to return to school in the fall, and I got it! I will still be working part time, but the grant is enuff to cover all my school needs. So not too shabby, all in all. Back to skool....geez....it's been a while...guess I'm gonna get edjumacated! Watch out Norman, here I come

YAY pell grant, thats how I go to school. Next year do your taxes really early and then as soon as your done with them fill out your pell forms online and there are 2 or three other state grants you can get too. This year I got an OTAG grant that way, an extra $500 bucks a semester.
