Whew! Am I tired. Two full days in the desert. Coachella 2003. What a great weekend.

Fortunately, I was able to secure all access passes...'cause I got it like that...and stand ON STAGE with some of the best bands in music.

Highlights: Kinky, Talib Kweli, Black Eyed Peas, Sonic Youth, Thievery Corporation, Blue Man Group, Chilli Peppers

Lowlights: Groove Armada - Just terrible.
The White Stripes? Uch. What an embarrassment to themselves, the crowd, and musicians in general. I don't think I"ve ever seen a less talented band receive more unwarranted praise. Not only did they suck, the sister can't play the cymbals let alone the drums, they made a huge stink just getting on stage. They cleared the entire stage of all VIP's, brought on their own security team, and then stopped their act midway through to complain about the sound. I'm sorry to any fans out there, but when you put these idiots next to bands like Mars Volta, Sonic Youth, and The Red Hot Chilli Peppers you see them for what they really are, rank amateurs wtih false delusions of granduer. Shite! Pure and utter Shite!!! I couldn't have been more insulted.

For those of you that missed it for whatever reason, do yourselves a favor now and make plans for next year.

Now, it's time to sleep...
