Went downtown last night to an art exhibition at some restaurant. It was right in the middle of the biggest homeless community I've ever seen. Block after block, people lined the streets in cardboard boxes and sleeping bags. Unlike most neighborhoods where there's a high degree of poverty, there didn't seem to be a high degree of crime. At least it didn't feel threatening. Which, in a way, is even sadder since these people have accepted their existence on some level. There didn't seem to be any fight in them.
I'm sitting here in my new "Executive" chair that I just picked up at Staples. Somehow it makes my work seem more legitimate. Besides, it does wonders for my ass.
The sun is beginning to burn through the haze. It's about time. It's been gone for too long.
Listening to: Themselves - putting all hip-pop chumps to shame, proving hip hop can still progress.
Eating: Asparagus. I marinated it in lemon for three days. A little butter, a little salt, Boka!
Looking at: Portia's new pics. Hot. VERY HOT. Something must be in the water in Oregon, of all places.
Planning on: Gettin' funky tonight.
