I think it's much better, but then I quite liked the original anyway. This one has a much more at the beginning about Balian's background, and then a lot more towards the end about the princess's child and why she behaved the way she did. The extras are pretty interesting too. They acknowledge it's not fully historically accurate, but they're quite right to point out that it's probably *still* one of the most historically accurate films ever to make it to the screen. You get to see Ridley Scott's director process in a lot of detail too, which is very interesting to watch. And Eva Green hmmmmmm *rubs trousers*
