Anyone else have problems with their younger siblings? My little sister, Tasha, is 16 and getting to the point where I am about ready to smack her. She has no respect for me or for our parents.
Last weekend she spontaneously decided to have a party at my dads house since he was out of town. My band has all of our equipment set up in the basement where we have a basic recording studio set up. When my sisters friends started showing up I was out with my friends. She called me on my cell to ask where my pipe was. I wasn't going to tell her since I assumed, correctly, that they were planning to smoke in the basement. I told her I would be home in a few minutes and I would get it for her and I explicitly told her to keep all her friends out of the basement. When Jake (my friend and bassist) and I got to my house, we found my sister and all of her friends in the basement fucking around with our stuff. She was just sitting on my couch watching her friends play with my drum set, Jake's bass and our friend Justin's guitar. When we told them to fuck off they replied with "hey, we're musicians too, we know how to handle it." I didnt say anything at the time, but I was thinking "oh really. If you fucktards were real musicians you would know it is NOT ok to mess with someone else's instrument." Instead I smoked a bowl with them and told them to get out of the basement.
Later that night, my sister and one of her most moronic friends tried to make hash brownies. They failed horribly and left the burn remains of their experiment all over the kitchen. There was weed butter stuck to the stove and several bowls and there was something burnt into my dads nicest Teflon skillet, which was ruined.
When I woke up the next morning, my sister was gone and two of her friends were still here, SMOKING IN THE HOUSE. When I saw the mess in the kitchen I just about shit a brick but Jake reminded me of one of his favorite sayings:
"There are two types of problems in the world. Those which are mine and those which are not mine, and this is not my problem."
Instead of cleaning everything up and taking the flak from my dad for the smokers in the house like I usually do, Jake and I left and set up alibis to prove that we were never there from Friday night until late Sunday. I told my sister that I wasnt going to do shit for her and she better clean up the house. She chose not to do anything and, predictably, caught hell when my dad got home. I pled the fifth and my alibis worked so my dad didnt say anything to me. My sister was made to clean up the whole house but she didnt have to do any of the dishes. All in all, she got off super easy.
Now shes being super bitchy to me and acting like its my fault this happened. My question for you: is this typical younger sibling or 16 year old girl attitude or is my sister just a cunt like I suspect?
Peace
Andy
