My roommate Harry stopped by the other day. Even though he 'lives' here, I haven't seen him in months. His mom owns the house, and the only time I see him anymore is when he's here at the request of the landlord. Turns out he was just down here to clean up the house so we can find more roommates. He also said they were going to get a shed for the backyard so we can clean out the garage. I thought this was all good when I left for work in the morning, but when I returned I found that he had taken both of my porch-couches to the dump, along with a lot of stuff out of the basement. He also left a big list of our duties that we have to do. He's making it out like we're caretakers, not tenants. And, no surprise, we still don't have a shed.
I think I might start looking for a new place to live.

I can understand needing to clean up for new tenants but he should have warned you about stuff like the couches, that's not cool.

Well, I'm looking for roommates, but there's no smoking in my house.
