It feels so good! I started working at a company, a few months ago that offered me a better position , hours and pay that what I have had for the past few years. Now I've worked in retail for five years, I've run stores, million dollar stores, as an associate. So this opportunity had me so pumped.
About a month ago, we get a new girl from another store who came in as my counterpart, and then a week later we were left without a general manager. It's not as bad as it sounds, like "yeah two people to run the store easy"! No. She didn't do anything, she left most of the stuff we had to have done Monday for me to do when I stated work Tuesday (I had Sunday's and Monday's off).
All the other girls working there were either young, inexperienced or trashy af. I went from working at a million dollar store, who's least pricy item was 50$ to a store who's most expensive was 50$. Idk what else I expected to happen. I had the store lookin amazing, clean. Everyone who walked in said something.
So fast forward to last week. My counterpart keeps us 20 minuets after we are done closing to corner me and tell me I'm not doing my job right, none of the girls like me, and that she can make my job really hard, and get me fired.
So the next morning 30 min before she's scheduled to show up I dropped off a note with my store key inside saying I quit, and to send me my check (which they already have). And I haven't answered their phone calls. Also sending HR a letter about how unprofessional the store is, and that the people they hire represent their company so girls coming in with attitude problems, shitty make up, looking like they ran out of bed and saying "titties" to customers instead of breasts makes them look like trash.
Ok rant over. Sorry if you read this entire thing.
