Well as my comments reaches towards double figures time for a little update.
Well my holiday is coming together very well, just a couple of places to sort out then I will start the hard task of finding the best boozers in the places I am visiting. Its a mixture of travelling alone and being with people to all places I have never been to before.
I will be glad of it as I have only had 3 days off where I have not had something related to work in the past 35 days. Not that I am moaning too much when I get paid as it will cover a lot of my beer bills when I am away.
Weekend, I have been a busy boy. I went out for drinks after work on Friday so went to Frankenstein's then ended up in the Royal Oak, don't ask why I often end up in there then ended up in the Casino in Queen Street which incidentally is one of the few places where you can get food after 3am.
Saturday whilst fending off the hangover, I managed to be called for work 4 times, I was only oncall for 12 hours.
At one stage it looked I would be heading straight to the SG Scotland meet straight from work without getting the chance to shave and get what I was going to wear ready.
Thankfully managed to get home before it was time to go, although work did try to get me in just as soon as the train left Falkirk High and had also ground to a halt, whoops bad madneil. Luckily it wasn't important and left it to lunchtime today to fix.
Anyway the meet went well, it was held in a nice bar near the Tron called Mono. Thankfully Battles was driving back to the East so gave us East coast drinkers a run back through thanks mate.
He also took us to a nice burger van just off Byres Road called Scooby, I decided to be a fat pig and had two of the things. As a result I have only had dinner today.
We also came across this ex Junkie, Vegan (even though he was eating some sort of Bacon buttie) and Buddhist at this burger van who managed to make a lasting impression on use all plus the normal Saturday casualties looking for Hughie all over the place. Infact I came across two girls looking for Hughie at 7pm on Argyle Street on a Saturday.
Anyway enough of my ramblings for one night, til next time.
