1. Across The Universe ..or something.

1. The next time you hear from me, I will be in Davis. It's only for the summer, then on to Sacramento to find an apartment to live in. Vanessa and I found the perfect one, too, right behind Sacramento City College. Hopefully they will have something available.

I applied at this restaurant called Pete's -- it's a grill & bar from what I can tell. It reminds me a bit of my former place of work, but a little more swanky. If I get the job, it will only be for the weekends, hosting and cross-training at the register, but you have to start somewhere in that business. The manager seems to like me, too.

I may also have another job waiting at Noah's in Davis or Sac.

I really want a job at Hamburger Mary's, though.

When I went to visit my Gramma yesterday, she handed me a check. It was a lot of money. Aparently, my other Grandma will be doing the same. Crazy.

I still have some packing to do, so fare thee well.
